I am declaring myself the Mistress of Making it Happen for the Candle Opera. This means that any area that is a grand vision for this production, I can be the one that births that idea into reality. This looks like budgeting, accountability, organization, production, integrity, and communication.
That being said, I would like for us to stick to any timelines that we create, or make new agreements if we are not able to meet those guidelines that we set. I would also like to see rehearsals before the production, to ensure that we are setting ourselves up properly to allow for our fullest self-expression and greatest joys to be experienced with ease and integrity.
So, what is needed from me to have the Candle Opera happen at Burning Man?

Fri, July 1, 2005 - 9:47 AMSounds like you just generated that =) Yay! I'm so excited... I've taken on helping to create the stage, so any ideas would be muchly appreciated. I had a conversation with Miike about a week ago and he dropped on me the idea of what it will look like, we talked it over for a while and then digressed into other areas of life, love, books, tantra... yummy.... I think we should set up a meeting sometime real soon with the Austin folks who will be participating and get some ideas (pre-production, costumes, make-up, lights, etc...) rolling around. Lemme know what you think about that.
